- Campus cards are required to access the building. The public does not have access to the Bio-Medical Library at the moment.
- The library is not staffed but staff can be contacted through Ask the Library.

Food and drink
Coffee, drinks and snacks are okay, but food is not allowed in the library.
There is a pantry with microwave ovens, a cafe and a lunch restaurant in other parts of the building.
Self-service
If you have a campus card to BMC, you can use the library even when the information counter is not staffed. At these times, you have access to study areas, computers, course books and other books you have ordered or are on waiting lists for. You can borrow and return books without staff being present.
Accessibility
There are lifts and door openers in the library and other buildings.
