Exceptions during the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis
- Campus cards are required to access the building. The public does not have access to Ångström Library at the moment.

If you have a campus card to Ångström, you can use the library even when the information counter is unstaffed. You will still have access to study spaces, computers, course books and other material. Course books are at the far left in the library. You can borrow and return books without staff being present.
You can borrow course books and other books even when the information counter is unstaffed. Books for pickup are on the trolley outside the information counter and the self-service machines for borrowing and returning books are to the left of the information counter. Interlibrary loans do not need to be registered in the self-service machine.
You can extend the loan period of a borrowed book at My loans.
The self-service machines for borrowing and returning books are to the left of the information counter. You can also return books at one of our other libraries.
Copies of articles
If you have ordered a copy of an article, we will send it to you through internal mail (applies to teachers and researchers).

Food and drink
- Coffee, drinks and snacks are okay, but food is not allowed in the library.
- There is a cafe and a lunch restaurant in other parts of the building.
The building has door openers at both the north and south entrances. There are lifts to floor 1 where the library is located.
The doors to the outer part of the library (information counter, reading places, computers) have door openers. The doors to the inner area (the stacks, study areas, computers etc.) are always left wide open when staff are present.
The toilet with handicap access is just outside the library.
The door to Ångström Visualisation Lab does not have a door opener. Contact the information counter for assistance.
