Jenny Lind and Uppsala

The singer Jenny Lind was born 200 years ago. She became a world famous artist and toured for example in the US. There are many connections between her and Uppsala, for instance she corresponded with Uppsala university's director musices J. A. Josephson and the Geijer family. Jenny Lind also gave a concert in the Carolina Hall in this building in 1844.
