Church Slavonic Printed Books
The Collection of Church Slavonic Printed Books at Uppsala University Library contains ca 250 items from the 16th-century until 1790s.
With 'Church Slavonic' printed books we refer to books printed in Slavonic languages with Glagolitic or Cyrillic letters before the reform of Peter I, and it corresponds to the Russian term staropecatnye knigi, according to Lennart Kjellberg.
The collection has been registered by Kjellberg in a catalogue, the order of which is chronological, and in which we can find an index of titles, authors, translators and printing places at the end of the catalogue. The catalogue is available online:
