Important dates for the users of Dag Hammarskjöld and Law Library


Open stacks close
On 2 November the open stacks will close. This means that the periodicals, the UN archive and the older parliamentary documents are not available from this date. Parliamentary documents can be studied at the Carolina Library, and at the Ekonomikum Library (SOU and Ds).

Pick-up and return
On 13 November the box for book returns will close. Book returns can be made during opening hours. You are also able to return books at other libraries of Uppsala University. When requesting books you can no longer choose the Dag Hammarskjöld and Law Library as a pick-up location, starting from 13 November.

We will pause our daily newspapers (Dn, SvD and UNT) from 13 November. You are welcome to Carolina Library and Ekonomikum Library to read newspapers. Researchers, students and university emplyees can also access digital newspapers, more information is available at the Library website.

Reading, borrowing and interlibrary loans
On 1 December the social sciences section of the library is planned to close. On 14 December the entire library closes. Remember to check out books and order your interlibrary loans in time. The Last day to pick up interlibrary loans is 13 December. We will cooperate with the Library for Economic Sciences during the relocation of the library.
